This entry was posted on September 1, 2006 and is filed under Gur's Story.

I always wanted to take part in the "Gaygames", the gay and lesbian olymic games. In 1998, when Dana International and Kyle hit the stage in the opening ceremony of the "Gaygames" in Amsterdam, I was working as a creative editor of live TV shows in the Israeli kids' channel, so I was workinh my ass off and couldn't just fly off to the games.
In 2002 I was living in Amsterdam, struggling to survive in this foreign European city, and hopping on a plane to Sydney for the "Gaygames" was not even an option, financially anyway.
But - since 2006 was just around the corner, and I was back in In Israel, quit settled and comfort in my job, and since taking a few days off this summer didn't seem to be a problem, I made up my mind to fly to Montreal for the "Gayames" of 2006.
Little did I know about the outcome of this decision. Read my next posts and discover what happened... oh well, if you want to jump right to the end, visit
